Ferndown Community Support Carol Singing.
We set up just outside the Ferndown Day Centre and sang a wide range of Christmas songs and carols for all the local community as they visited the centre for the Christmas Fair. The centre was raising funds for the Community Cafe and Fridge.
It was a very very windy day but that didn’t dampen the enthusiasm - with joyful sing-alongs and meeting new families and friends who stopped and sang a carol with us or just listened to our singing and pondered about the coming festival season. Event shoppers came and said hello and stopped for a while for some festive respite.
It was a very busy event and we raised over £60 for our own charitable works. A lovely start to our own festive season of singing events - Martin was even interviewed by Forest FM at the end of the day!
