Open Day at the Immanuel Church.
The event was opened by the Bournemouth Mayor - Councillor Robert Lawton - to the accompaniment of a superb brass band. The weather was perfect with the rain holding off.
The church hosted many stalls and areas for delicious refreshments.
Inside the main hall we sang for half an hour then had a break to watch some beautiful dancing by a local dance troupe. We sang for another half an hour with plenty of audience participation singing and clapping.
Our tombola was so popular one of our members didn't get time to come and sing with us!
Garden Party
One of our members hosted a wonderful garden party. After our energetic singing we were all appreciative of the time she had spent cooking.
Another member had made and decorated a tasty fruit cake and all of us had brought a little something to share.
There was so much delicious food, and a jolly sing-song afterwards. A big thank you from everyone!
